"Downtown's Frisco Building sells for $4.6 million"

The Frisco Building, at Ninth and Olive streets in downtown St. Louis, has changed hands for $4.6 million.

A Chicago-area developer has filed plans to build a $95 million senior living facility in Clayton.

Developer Ryan Companies US Inc. said the project, called Clarendale of Clayton, would feature 281 units for independent living, assisted living and memory care at 7651 Clayton Road, according to documents filed with the city.

$100 million downtown apartment tower gets approval

The proposed $100 million apartment tower at 300 S. Broadway can move forward after the St. Louis city Preservation Board voted to approve the project Monday.

Desco Group has closed on the old Shriners Hospital for Children site, clearing the way for its planned $80 million development in Frontenac.

The St. Louis Cardinals and their development partner, Baltimore-based Cordish Cos., are now pre-leasing units in their planned 29-story apartment building in Ballpark Village.

 

"Midas Hospitality, a growing hotel operator in the St. Louis area, has plans to raise up to $100 million to help fund future acquisitions and development.
